Meet Sophia Wolback '27, a Bennington College junior studying theatrical production and lighting design. As a Lortell Fellow interning as a production assistant with Pregones at the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater in Manhattan, Sophia explores the professional, operational, and administrative sides of the New York City theater industry. From managing rental spaces and configuring lighting consoles to building community with fellow designers, this immersive experience provides a vital stepping stone for her upcoming design projects and future career.
